Literary Attemp #4: The Farmers

The Farmers
by Francis Jay M.Damit

There were two Peasants then,
With  separate Journey yet united in one aim,
To plant and fill the earth with abundance of laughter
To fill each day with love and care.

They would wake up early before the sun lights up the day
To water the seeds they planted in the fields.
They have done everything to grow the sapling.
'Tough sweats are falling yet their hearts still smiling.

The time of  harvest will soon get in,
and their sacrifice will near end.
It would struck their feeling yet they can't do anything
but to let them taken by the wind of wandering.

The peasants were left in a rocking saddle
reminiscing all their sacrifices of growing the fruitful.
And the supreme will soon call them,
 To dwell with him.

The farmers will leave their legacy,
By planting young's who were now great men
Of success and well-roundedness.
And the husband and wife left with happiness.
