F I E L D S T U D Y REFLECTION I can still vividly remember my first field study experience, that was during the first semester in my second year. And the memory that was left in my heart are those that would make me laugh because of the changes and realization it has brought to me. Memories that I could say one of my greatest achievement in life. Even though those experiences defied my patience because of the challenges that I and my classmates must first get through before getting there. Fireproof A Reflection The book of Psalms 18:28 said, “For you will light my lamp; the Lord will enlighten my darkness.” For all the verses I know in the bible I believe this was the one who can best relate on the film, Fireproof. Aishite Imasu 1941:Mahal Kita           The Film Aishite Imasu revolved between three people: Inya, Edilberto and Ignacio. The three are childhood friends, then later on Edilberto(Raymart Santiago) fell in love with Inya(Judy Ann Santos) while Ignacio(Dennis Trillo)grew up being a womanish guy. The story took place during the world war II and the Japanese invasion in the Philippines. Ignacio who prefers to wear woman clothing fascinated the Japanese Captain Ichiru, played by Jay Manalo, upon their arrival in the country. Since Ignacio also had a romantic desire with Edilberto, which was a Guerilla leader, accepted his request to continue to pretend as woman and serve as a spy to the Japanese. Edilberto's family were assassinated by the Japanese and caused him to revenge against the conqueror's and later on changed him into a dauntless and revengeful man.      It's my first time to see the Ms. UNIVERSE 2010 4th Runner-Up Ms. Venus Raj and I would consider it as a memorable experience because She's one of the many TV Personalities that I admire most due to her simplicity, perseverance and determination on things that she have to act upon and I think she's funny too. And for staying humble towards the success that she have had and to the recognition that she brought in the country after she won the 4th place on the Ms. Universe pageant after 10 years that Philippines hadn't joined the top 15.    It's very obvious, that she is God-oriented. And she gives much importance to her family, which is one of the factors that makes me admire a certain person.    Going back to the encounter, she is darker than to what I have expected, she's tall and thin, some of my friends who saw her too says that she looks like a darker Barbie Doll. And personally, after seeing her, I would definitely say that black is beauty.
