F I E L D S T U D Y REFLECTION I can still vividly remember my first field study experience, that was during the first semester in my second year. And the memory that was left in my heart are those that would make me laugh because of the changes and realization it has brought to me. Memories that I could say one of my greatest achievement in life. Even though those experiences defied my patience because of the challenges that I and my classmates must first get through before getting there. But after all I realized that all the hindrances including the location, finances and with all the sweats that we had during those times were paid much by their warm welcome and the feeling of acceptance and accommodation that they have shown us. The school is situated in Zayas, Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City. Yes! The location certainly sounds familiar because of its famous landmark, the city's Landfill. The school is located in the place where stinky garbage and wastes of the city w

Fireproof: A Reflection

Fireproof A Reflection The book of Psalms 18:28 said, “For you will light my lamp; the Lord will enlighten my darkness.” For all the verses I know in the bible I believe this was the one who can best relate on the film, Fireproof. The film, as what I have understood, is a story of a couple caught in a complicated situation of their marriage. Misuderstanding, miscommunication and misadjustments worsen their situation. The woman who feels being unappreciated and the man who doesn't feel validated at home were left facing a dilemma between to pursue a divorce or to find a chance to regain their marriage vows. Then heres the father of caleb( Kirk Cameroon) who challenged him into a 40 day love test, that could possibly make atonement of the lost appetite of their marriage. Then he accepted the challenge and tried to do the things listed on the book, although a response isn't visible on his embittered wife he still continued. and they end up realizing the 'till de

The Battle of Manila Reflection     Disbelief, One of the many words one can utter after watching the film. I was greatly moved by the situations and events that I witnessed from the film. With all the struggles it has shown, death, killings, battle, and so many events that one couldn't even imagine that have happened. The Manila City Hall     Young Filipinos today may never expect about how the Filipinos suffered at that time, and I was one of them. I have heard about it for so many times, and here I am, some were remembered while many were taken for granted. Most of the youth today might have heard the war tales that our grandfathers have told us, and we can never deny the fact that, were not even bothered to listen all those. Everyone is aware that there is World War II, Japanese Invasion, Pearl Harbor, MacArthur and so many words that has been a common expression in the society, we have heard it, from our parents, grandparents, ne
